Standings note: Each team plays the other three teams in its division in four regular season games (12 games).
Each team plays the four teams in the other division in two regular season games (8 games).
Total of 20 conference games, all of which count in both division standings and overall standings.
The MCHA will keep standings within divisions, however, all conference. games in and out of division count
in those in-division standings. The league will also keep overall standings that will be used for playoff seedings.
Final playoff seedings will put the overall top team in the No. 1 seed and the other division champion as the No. 2 seed.
Then, the second and third-placed teams will play each other (higher seed will host) in the quarterfinals for a chance to advance to the Harris Cup Four. The fourth place finisher in each division will not advance to the postseason.
